Gorilla in town

Jeremy Scott's successful collaboration with Adidas made it to Shanghai last week. Ms MARY CHING and friends danced the night away to DJ sets by The Misshapes and DJ Spenny. Mr Scott himself was there to create a hype amongst his adoring fans in head to toe Adidas. The venue Zeal, a bar on the bund was breath taking and no doubt made an impression on Mr Scott himself and brand ambassador Eason Chan. We may have rocked the party but lets not forget Adidas rocks!

Spring Cleaning at the Studio

Spring is upon us, and while the temperature is heating up and the flowers begin to blossom outside, the Mary Ching crew is busy with spring cleaning on the inside. The new addition of spacious white cupboards helped tidy things up around the studio, but not without a thorough inspection from Mr. Dim. We think he approves.

One of the most notable dandies of them all—Oscar Wilde—once said, “One should either be a work of art, or wear a work of art.” This month’s edition of China Vogue truly heeds the famed writer’s words, portraying a style so refined yet so nonchalant. The notion of “dandyism” dates back to 18th Century England, and Ms. Mary Ching, herself a mix of British and Chinese heritage, absolutely loves Vogue’s depiction of simultaneously sexy and stoic fashion.

Opening Night at Plaza 66

The Mary Ching Girls were spotted at one of Shanghai’s hottest events this past Friday, the grand opening of Leather & Care in the popular mall that is Plaza 66. The newly opened store features a collection of Mary Ching’s premium leather shoes. Plaza 66 is equally famous for its luxurious products as it is for its fashionable consumers, so we are certain Mary Ching will fit right in.

International Women's Day

Happy International Women’s Day! This year, the theme is “Empower Women,” with a focus on ending worldwide poverty and hunger. International Women’s Day recognizes all the great strives women have made in the past and celebrates the accomplishments women are bound to make in the future. If you have heard of Facebook, you may have heard of David Choe, the graffiti artist who made headlines after painting Facebook’s main office with his electrifying artwork. David Choe happens to be one of Ms. Mary Ching’s favorite artists, and the vibrant colors on display in the Chingdom, more specifically the Great Wall of Mary Ching, certainly attest to her passion for boundless artistry.
