We're sure all of our readers know how it feels when a supermodel takes your signature look and manages to make it look, well, a hell of a lot better. (We'd better lay off the mince pies, Ms. CHING!) Chrissy's banana pants were a s/s 2010 staple that took her from the office to art openings, usually styled monochromatically. (Head to toe yellow? Yes, believe you us, it's awesome.)

Sadly, Ms. MARY CHING's camera struggled with the excitement of Saturday's Christmas party hosted by Beijing-based milliner Elisabeth Koch; 28 guests were invited to a hidden hutong in the city's old quarter for a formal sit-down dinner. Ms. Koch gave the event a lovely personal touch as she set the table with her anniversary napkins from 2007! Why not, say we...
